Phil Sweeting stepped into the role of CEO in September 2025 after more than 20 years of church-based pastoral ministry. He has had the privilege of serving in churches in Sussex, Surrey and the Midlands, both in larger established churches, and leading a team planting a new fledgling church. 

He’s increasingly astonished by the grace of God and delighted to be able to serve the wider church as he leads the team here at Living Leadership.

He’s married to Katie who also serves as a Living Leadership Associate, and they have three wonderful children.

When he’s not seeking to encourage people in ministry, he loves woodworking, conjuring, listening to and making music, and has a borderline idolatrous obsession with books
