Since 2006, Formation Residentials been complementing the training churches and Christian organisations provide for developing junior leaders by laying essential foundations for life in ministry as a disciple-maker in a context of encouragement, support, fun and fellowship with other people from across the country at the same stage as you in ministry.
Residential 1: Foundations for Life in Ministry
Come and meet a group of great people from all over the country who are at the same ministry stage as you to learn, enjoy and reflect. We'll think through God's purpose for the church, leadership as service and how Christian character is formed.
With a team of experienced Christians leading the programme, there's plenty of time to get advice, pray and worship together and eat good food.
Residential 2: The Disciple-Making Life
Put aside your to-do list, escape the bubble of ministry work at this mid-point in the academic year and spend a couple of days with peers and more experienced leaders who can help you reflect on your experience so far and think ahead.
This residential is an opportunity to pause and consider how you are growing as a disciple and a disciple-maker, and how you can develop a Christ-centred life and ministry of disciple-making for the long haul.
