About the Event

This event is being offered by one of the Living Leadership Associates, Dave Burke, in partnership with Living Leadership.

We are keenly aware that mental health is important. But if we want to support people really well, we need evidence-based, accurate, knowledge and skills. The Adult Mental Health First Aid course will equip you with these.

Every church should have at least one person with a MHFA qualification.

During 16 hours of study, face-to-face or online, you will gain a thorough understanding of what good mental health looks like and how to maintain it, the factors that affect our mental health, and a detailed grasp of the main diagnoses we encounter in those we seek to support. How to offer appropriate and effective support is a theme of the course all the way through.
