The Gospel vs. Our Inner Critic - A Ministry Spouses Seminar

How do you talk to yourself when you fail, feel inadequate, or struggle to meet your own expectations?

For many of us, the loudest critical voice we hear is not from others, but from within. Our inner critic can leave us trapped in cycles of shame, self-doubt, comparison, and striving. It can distort how we see ourselves, our calling, and even how we hear God’s voice.

In this seminar, we will explore what the gospel has to say to our inner critic. Together, we will consider how to discern the difference between the condemning voice of self-criticism and the gracious, truthful voice of Christ. Rather than being driven by fear, performance, or the need to prove ourselves, we will discover how the gospel invites us into a life of freedom, humility, and surrender.
