A Life Poured Out - A Ministry Spouses Seminar

Being married to someone in full time ministry often brings blessing, but can feel costly too; busy diaries, evenings home alone, the burdens of pastoral care or supporting an exhausted and discouraged spouse. Rooted in Philippians 2 and Paul's invitation to us to take on the mindset of Christ, this seminar will be exploring the nature of biblical sacrifice and the heart motives behind it. What sacrifices might God be asking of me? Are there sacrifices that are not pleasing to God?  How do I discern his voice? What if the cost of ministry weighs heavily on our marriages and families? What does Jesus teach us about our need to withdraw and receive? And most importantly how do we find joy in a life of service to Jesus?
